The Changi Airport Station can be reached via Terminal 2 and 3, and is connected to the Tanah Merah Station, from where you can get in and outbound the city. Trains leave regularly from around 5.30 in the morning until 11.30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the stations.

Train timetables

The bus to and from the airport takes about an hour and costs around $2.50. Make sure to have the exact amount as no change is given.

Take bus 36 or 36A from the airport to the city (runs 6.00am until midnight) at the bus stops at Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

From the city, bus 36 will take you to the airport and stop at all three terminals.

Bus routes

You can find taxis at each of the terminals at the arrival levels. A taxi to the city takes around 30 minutes, and prices vary between $20 and $40 depending on your time of arrival. Fares are metered, an all rides originating from the Airport will add an airport surcharge. For estimated prices per hour, please see the airport website.

You can buy tickets for single trips for both the train and bus (although you need exact change on the bus), or you can get a Singapore Tourist Pass, a special card which will allow you unlimited travel for 1, 2 or 3 days.

MRT System

The Mass Rapid Transit system, Singapore's rail network, has lines crossing the entire city and gets you to all the main attractions.

Singapore's bus system has an extensive network of routes covering most places in Singapore and is the most economical way to get around, as well as being one of the most scenic.
